Chief Executive Officer
Brit Pim joined Healix as Chief Executive Officer in 2017. With broad healthcare industry experience, he has an extensive background in regulated lines of business in managed care and pharmacy benefit management. Additionally, Brit serves as a board member and advisor to several healthcare services and technology companies. Before joining Healix, Brit was President of Express Scripts, Government Programs Division, and CEO of Express Scripts Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Express Scripts. During his 12 year tenure with the company, he played key roles in integrating nearly $40B in acquisitions. Brit also brings 10 years of consulting experience with Ernst & Young and experience at BlueCross BlueShield of Ohio.
Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President
Lance Carlson joined Healix as Chief Financial Officer in March 2018 and has more than 25 years of broad healthcare experience including public accounting and various financial roles within the physician practice management and long-term acute care industries with both private and publicly held organizations. Before joining Healix, Lance was Vice President and Regional Chief Financial Officer within the Hospital Division of Kindred Healthcare. Lance received a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
General Counsel and Executive Vice President
Greg Mitchell joined Healix in April of 2018. Before joining Healix, Greg was at Express Scripts in St. Louis, Missouri, for six years. Greg held a variety of roles at Express Scripts, and was most recently Vice President and Associate General Counsel leading a team of lawyers and other professionals supporting the Sales and Account Management organization. His team focused on client contracts and other client matters for the Fortune 20 Pharmacy Benefits Manager. In previous roles at Express Scripts, Greg was variously responsible for new product development, distribution and supply chain, specialty pharmacy, and Government Programs (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). Greg was previously an attorney at Husch Blackwell, LLP in Kansas City where he focused his practice on health law and general corporate law, with a focus on health care mergers and acquisitions. Greg obtained his BSBA in Economics and Juris Doctor at the University of Nebraska. Greg brings a practical legal perspective and a zeal for new and innovative service offerings to Healix.
Chief Business Officer and Executive Vice President
Mani Moore has been an employee of Healix and its affiliates since 1990 and has served on the Executive Team since 1996. She currently serves as the Chief Business Officer and Executive Vice President. With over 27 years of experience in the healthcare services industry, Mani contributes extensive expertise in Business Administration to the Healix team. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.
Chief Sales Officer and Executive Vice President
John Park joined Healix in May of 2000 as the Vice President of Client Services. With over 25 years of experience in accounting, banking, finance and client relationship management, John brings a unique skill set to both current and prospective clients. He has previously held positions as the Vice President with Chase Bank of Texas in Middle Market and Real Estate banking and as a CPA and Senior Auditor for Arthur Young & Co. John received a BBA in Accounting from Harding University and an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University.
Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs
Earl Silverstein has been with Healix since 1994, serving as Healix's Vice President of Legal Affairs since 1996 and as the President of Alliance Risk Management Services. Earl brings over 40 years of experience in healthcare claims and litigation management, risk management, and insurance consulting. Before joining Healix, he served as the President of Dynamark, was Vice President and co-founder of Caronia Corporation, and Vice President of Johnson & Higgins. Earl was a contributing author of "Emergency Medicine Risk Management" and has written a number of articles and lectured on the subject of healthcare claims, risk management, and healthcare compliance.
Senior Vice President of Nursing
Brenda Parker has been an employee of Healix since 1998 and joined the Executive Team in February 2000 to serve as the Vice President of Nursing. Brenda has more than 25 years of nursing experience, including infusion therapy and more than 20 years of leadership and management expertise. Her accolades in the field are numerous and include national acknowledgement for high standards of practice in the nursing profession.
Lucinda Van Anglen
Senior Vice President of Pharmacy
Lucinda J. Van Anglen, B.S., Pharm.D. joined Healix in 1994. Her curriculum vitae includes work as Homecare Surveyor for the Joint Commission, hospital clinical pharmacist specializing in nutritional support and infectious disease, Nutrition Specialist with B. Braun (formerly known as McGaw), and manager of two home health care companies. Lucinda has also served as the Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator, Practice Programs at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, part of the Mayo Clinic, and was awarded her post-baccalaureate Pharm.D. degree from the University of Utah. Lucinda's clinical expertise and dedication to excellence drive the development of stringent protocols and help Healix create the highest quality of pharmaceuticals.
Senior Vice President of Operations
Casey Lucas has been an employee of Healix since 2001 and currently serves as the Vice President of Operations. Since joining the company, Casey has been instrumental in opening and managing Office Infusion Centers across the nation. In his current role, he oversees the day-to-day operations of all infusion centers. Casey received his BBA from St. Edward’s University and his MBA in Finance from Texas A&M University.
Vice President of Human Resources
Liz Orphé joined Healix in 1999 as the Human Resources Manager and currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources. With over 30 years of Human Resources experience, Liz oversees Healix’s nationwide human resources functions, including employee relations, compensation and benefits and professional development initiatives. Prior to joining Healix, she served in a leadership position for a consulting business in the oil and gas industry. She has designed the human resources services for companies with a primary focus on employment law, staff management, and employee relations. She also served as Human Resource Manager for 12 years at a national healthcare organization.
Senior Vice President of Accounting
An employee of Healix since 1999, Melisa Norton currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Accounting. With over 15 years of healthcare, business, and financial services experience, Melisa’s expertise and commitment to best practices bring considerable value to Healix’s financial performance. Melisa graduated from the University of Texas at Austin as part of the Red McComb’s School of Business with a degree in Accounting.
Vice President of Supply Chain
Linda Dunk began her career with Healix in 2000 with the Client Services Team, and then moved into Operations to manage the clinical staff coverage. In her current role as Vice President of Supply Chain, Linda draws on her 35+ years of healthcare operations experience to oversee the sourcing and purchasing of drugs and medical supplies, as well as the recruiting and hiring of clinical site staff, the management of the national coverage team, and the implementation of new CORIS sites. Linda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education and a Master’s degree in Health Planning, both from Texas A&M University.
Vice President of Software Development
Virudhs Raman joined Healix in March 2002. With more than 18 years of product development and management experience, he has launched multiple innovative products and has deep expertise in software engineering, product life cycle management, agile development and quality control. As the Vice President of Software Development and Support, Virudhs is responsible for developing strategic and operational plans and coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future software systems across the organization. Virudhs holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Computer Science degree from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in India.
Vice President of Reimbursement
Diana L. Pena joined Healix in 1992 and serves as the Vice President of Reimbursement. With over 22 years of healthcare and management experience, Diana brings a unique perspective in business office operations, customer service, financial analysis, and process improvement. Diana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and a Master of Business Administration degree with highest honors from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.
Vice President of Marketing
Kelly Anderson joined Healix in 2009 and currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing. With nearly a decade of healthcare marketing and business experience, Kelly is responsible for conceptualizing and implementing marketing programs to support the company’s overall strategic direction. She is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with highest honors.
Vice President of Sales
Todd Seman joined Healix as Vice President of Sales in August 2018 and has more than 17 years of sales and sales management experience. Todd brings a diverse work background that includes 6 years as a science teacher, merchant processing small business owner, and most recently, spending 12 years in various roles with Takeda Pharmaceuticals. Todd holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from Marylhurst University and a Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree from Cleveland State University.
Mort Baharloo co-founded Healix in 1989 with Alan B. Chaveleh. Throughout the course of decades of experience in healthcare, Mort has served in a variety of pharmaceutical and healthcare management positions. His passion in healthcare has been that of innovation in the delivery of sophisticated therapies in the most efficient manner possible. Mort is also a fiction writer whose first novel was released in November of 2004.
Alan B. Chaveleh
Alan B. Chaveleh co-founded Healix in 1989 with Mort Baharloo. Dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, he co-developed the CORIS® program, one of the foremost infusion therapy management programs in the nation. Alan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and has over 25 years of management experience in the healthcare, technology, and financial industries.
Mark G. Winters
Mark G. Winters joined Healix in 1990 and played a significant role in building the company. Throughout his tenure, Mark was instrumental in company operations as well as securing multiple strategic private equity exits across healthcare, manufacturing and technology markets. Mark currently serves on the board of various organizations and is an active advisor/investor with the Baylor Angel Network. He holds a master’s degree with distinction from the University of Houston, as well as an engineering degree from Texas A&M University.
