Proprietary Infusion Management Software
Healix uses state-of-the-art software specifically designed for the infusion center setting. Designed by infusion experts for infusion providers, the software includes chair-optimized infusion scheduling, real-time insurance verification, inventory management, treatment documentation, and pre-treatment workflow. Additionally, the Healix App and secure, web-based Client Portal are exclusive software solutions provided to our clients for on-the-go access to critical infusion center data.
Injectable Therapies
With a 30,000 sq foot state-of-the-art pharmacy and distribution facility located in Houston TX, Healix offers a program that allows providers to administer injectable drugs in their office or dispense to the patients home for self-administration. With this program, physicians have another opportunity to oversee and coordinate their patients care.
Infusible Therapies
Healix offers a program that allows providers to administer infusible drugs in the office or for self-administration at the patient’s home. These drugs include biologics, anti-infectives, intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg), and subcutaneous immunoglobulin (SCIg). This enables the practice to maintain total control over patient treatment. We provide full transparency, so physicians and their team have complete access to which patients are being seen in the center, who is scheduled for the day, and the status of insurance verifications. At Healix, we provide superior clinical care by employing highly-trained Registered Nurses with significant experience, along with skilled pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Studies show that the physician office setting provides significant site of care benefits for patients, communities, and payors, including superior clinical outcomes and lower cost of care. Dedicated Client Services Executive
The Client Services Executive acts as your dedicated Healix liaison for all support needs. From day-to-day operations to long-term planning to enhance the value of your program, your Client Services Executive is focused on helping you optimize for success.
For our clients with Revenue Cycle Services, the Client Services Executive frequently collaborates with our Business Office and Managed Care Team to provide robust financial reporting and contract consulting.
If you are an Infusion Center Services client, your Client Services Executive will oversee every aspect of your infusion practice from initial space planning and implementation to ongoing financial and operational management. For programs that include on-site nursing or pharmacy, the Client Services liaison will coordinate staff recruiting, training, and onboarding with our Corporate Nursing and Pharmacy teams. The Client Services Executive will then fully manage the staff to provide smooth operations and efficiency in patient care.
The Client Services Executive also consistently analyzes your practice and the market for growth opportunities, assists with hospital education, and supports patient census development.
Expert Infusion Clinical Support
The Healix clinical support team provides your nurses and pharmacists with training and infusion best practices. Our clinical team completes regular, in-depth training programs through our online Healix University as well as in-person, on-site sessions. Additionally, Healix supports its nursing staff in completing the Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI®) certification. This certification prepares our team for the newest technologies and techniques within the nursing specialty.
Our pharmacy team routinely coordinates and conducts collaborative clinical research. Due to our unique position in the outpatient infusion management setting, our pharmacy team in collaboration with our physician partners, gives us unprecedented access to the highest quality real-world clinical data. Drug Procurement
Healix procures all infusion drugs, supplies, and equipment for your program, provides wholesale distribution, and manages inventory. There is no out-of-pocket capital requirement to the practice for monthly drug expenditures, and payment is not due until infusion collections are realized for our infusion center services clients.
Healix Central Pharmacy Dispensing
The Healix Infusion Therapy Pharmacy is an accredited, licensed facility that meets or exceeds United States Pharmacopeia (USP) industry standards, with a focus on chapters USP <797> and USP <800>. The pharmacy provides sterile compounded medications for Healix-managed infusion centers nationwide and is committed to quality, patient safety, and precision.
Our clinical pharmacy team provides a variety of specialty services to support our clients and their patients and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This team prepares infusions and monitors drug utilization and interactions. The pharmacy can also provide infusion patients with take-home medications when applicable, which reduces the frequency of in-office visits, allows for a more manageable infusion center workload, and increases patient convenience and satisfaction.
The Healix Pharmacy additionally provides 503A traditional patient-specific pharmacy compounding for hospitals across the country. We offer a variety of therapies and drug delivery options along with clinical pharmacy services.
Revenue Cycle Services
Our Revenue Cycle Team is second to none. With extensive experience in infusion billing, we assume all initial and ongoing payor verification of benefits, prior authorization, copay assistance enrollment, payor criteria compliance, and reimbursement analysis. We ensure 100% charge capture and associated reimbursement for every aspect of infusion services.
Healix also provides our clients with extensive managed care expertise, including payor contract negotiations, recovery of funds, and contract reviews. Our integrated team equips you with comprehensive therapy margin analysis to help you identify the best options for your patients and your practice.
On-Site Nursing
With on-site Healix nursing staff, each patient is treated under your supervision and is supported by experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) who help coordinate patient care, prepare and administer infusions, and provide patient education. Healix recruits, hires, and trains all RNs on your behalf, identifying and maintaining licensed clinicians for your infusion program. When needed, we provide consistent clinical staff coverage to accommodate planned and unplanned staff absences, helping to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
Infusion nurses are also available on-call 24/7 through our Central Call Center for your patients during after-hours and holidays.
Financial Reporting
Healix clients receive in-depth financial data and key performance indicators, including real-time sales and profitability analysis.
On-Site Pharmacy
When patient volume and state regulations allow, we will build and manage a pharmacy within your infusion center that is staffed by a Healix Registered Pharmacist (RPh). The pharmacist compounds, dispenses, and monitors medications for patient use on-site or at home when applicable. Healix recruits, hires, and trains all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians on your behalf, identifying and maintaining licensed clinicians for your infusion program.
